By road
Engelberg is easily accessible from all directions by car. There are motorways from Geneva via Bern; or from St. Gallen via Zurich to Lucerne (Gotthard route). On arrival at the Unique-Airport Zürich-Kloten, you have hourly direct rail connections to Lucerne, and then from Lucerne again direct rail connections to Engelberg.
